The MTAA Annual Conference "Medical Technology and Innovation 2008 - Innovative Pathways to a Healthy Nation" will be held from 24-25 September at the Star City Ballroom, Sydney. This year the conference will provide something for everyone involved in the medical technology industry.

MTAA awarded 3 Year Industry Integration of E-learning grant - 22 July 2008
MTAA has partnered with VHIA (Victorian Hospitals Industrial Association) and webqem (e-learning specialist) to embed e-learning as a delivery method for professional development in the medical technology workforce through a 3 year grant awarded by the Canberra Institute of Technology.

Budget - MTAA Welcomes Government Committment to Medical Technology - 13 May 2008
The Medical Technology Association of Australia (MTAA) welcomes the Government’s budget commitment to establish a Health and Hospitals Fund of $10 billion to support strategic investments in health, including investments in health and hospital facilities and equipment, medical technology and equipment and major medical research facilities and equipment.
