Industry working with Healthcare Professionals
Course 3: Working with Healthcare Professionals
Medical technology industry personnel often work closely with healthcare professionals. This requires a range of skills, knowledge and understanding that responds to the language of healthcare professionals and their work environments. In addition, medical company representatives as visitors to the perioperative environment are required to be trained in the 2010-2011 ACORN Standards for authorised admission (Standard 24). A range of modules reinforcing the skills required to work effectively with healthcare professionals are available.
Modules 3.1, 3.2, 3.3, 3.4, 3.7 and 3.8 are available through expressions of interest.
